|QUESTION. WHAT DOES THE PLAINSMEN CHORUS DO AFTER A LONG AND SUCCESSFUL YEAR OF SINGING?
ANSWER. MORE SINGING?
Nowhere is our love of singing and the comradeship of our choral brothers more obvious than at our "Afterglow". Last night after our final (very relaxed) practice we headed off to the nearest watering hole for drinks, refreshments and more acapella singing. And we had the opportunity to acknowledge that 4 of our members had their 80th birthdays this year (Terry Maunsell, Terry Popplewell and Bryan Taylor and Bill Hotter).
Some wit pointed out that our very successful quartet (Promenade) collectively were not 80 years old - an indication of the vast age range of our members.
We wish all of our families, friends and supporters a Happy, Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
